.NET Developer Location: Herndon, Reston, DC, or College Park Employment Type: Full-time, W2 Job Summary: We seek a dynamic individual to join our software development team, providing technical development, maintenance, and support for a suite of web-based financial applications. The ideal candidate will analyze and implement software requirements using web technologies, debugging applications, and providing compliant technical solutions in a Microsoft Windows environment. This role involves collaborating closely with team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and implement software requirements using ASP .Net, VB .Net, ADO .NET, HTML, and JavaScript in an MS Windows environment. Debug applications and propose feasible solutions promptly. Provide technical solutions compliant with FISCAM and NIST 800-53 standards. Write queries, store procedures, and administer a SQL Server database. Develop and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology). Equivalent experience requirements: BS + 6 years technical experience / HS + 10 years / MA + 4 years equivalence. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO .NET in developing dynamic web applications. To meet the 8570 IAT Level II Compliance, candidates must have one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) U.S. Citizenship required. Top Secret / SI security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of development experience using MS Visual Studio/TFS. Experience in web and GUI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with SQL Server databases, including writing stored procedures, views, and triggers. Experience with MS SQL Server Analysis Services. Familiarity with ad-hoc reporting, Pivot tables, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Agile and Risk Management Framework (RMF) development methodologies. Experience with financial-based systems. Strong work ethic with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills with the ability to offer clear and concise recommendations. Working Conditions: This role is based in Herndon, Reston, DC, or College Park with no travel requirements.
