In this role, you will:Set up, maintain and operate machinery, while ensuring the interminable and efficient production runningSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsOperate hand tools and other equipment.Maintain company equipment and tools.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or GED required.Experience working in manufacturing, preferred.Need problem-solving capabilities and ability to work productively as part of a teamMechanical ability and attention to detail, required.OSHA 40 certification is a plusKnowledge of safety policies and procedures.Must be trustworthy and dependableGood communication and interpersonal skillsThis position primarily works in a heavy manufacturing environment where the ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including exposure to heat and cold both inside and outside of the building, and around loud noises. Remain on feet in an upright position for continuous periods of time. Carry objects up to 50 lbs. Requires employee to bend forward by bending at waist or by bending the legs and spine. Regularly grasp or reach and pick up objects. Repeated motions with wrists, hands, fingers.
