JOB DESCRIPTION Are you the perfect host? Our Berkeley store is seeking a warm professional to oversee our store as our new Salon Coordinator. The ideal candidate loves working with people, has exceptional customer service skills, and can keep up in a fast-paced salon. Specifically, our Salon Coordinator is responsible for: Scheduling appointments via phone, email, and in person Greeting clients + overseeing an exceptional experience (beverages, polishes, etc) Email correspondence with clients Monitoring inventory and restocking Cleaning, laundry, organizing, keeping facility tidy Opening/closing the studio Supporting management with everyday operations, from entry to back of house QUALIFICATIONS Must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays and additional weekdays Must be willing to fill in at our Marin (Larkspur) location on occasion Superior customer service skills, including exemplary phone and email etiquette Punctual, reliable, and highly professional Previous hospitality or retail experience considered a bonus, but not required Ability to keep pace in a high-volume salon environment Organized, and able to complete tasks with little or no direction Ability to master new salon management software and various other computer programs BENEFITS Competitive hourly wages plus bonus 401(k) plan Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) for full-time employees Unlimited free salon services Career advancement opportunities LEARN MORE & APPLY hellomarlowe.com talent@hellomarlowe.com @marlowecalifornia Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.67 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Shift: 8 hour shift Application Question(s): Are you able to work Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays?
