Job Description Our organization in Syracuse, New York, is excited to introduce the launch of a new hospital-based Orthopedic Surgery Program. We are currently in search of a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Sports Medicine Surgery to join our expanding team. This is a remarkable opportunity to become a foundational member of a newly formed orthopedic group, allowing you to influence the program from the ground up!Position Highlights:Hospital-employed positionJoin a new initiative with opportunities for leadership involvement and growthWork from a single hospital campus and affiliated Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)Support from a Surgical Physician Assistant to enhance efficiency and patient careRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic SurgeryCompletion of a fellowship in Sports SurgeryWe are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, particularly in hip arthroscopy.Eligibility for a New York State medical licenseNew graduates are encouraged to apply!Recruitment Package:Compensation: Base salary ranging from $630,000 to $760,000The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other potential cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer.
