Role- Azure Cloud ArchitectLocation- Jersey City, NJ- OnsiteFTEJob DescriptionMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsTechnical SkillsDeep expertise in Azure data services (Databricks, ADLS, ADF, Event Hub/Service Bus).Strong architectural background in Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystems (HDFS, Spark, Hive/Impala, Ranger/Sentry).Hybrid connectivity design including ExpressRoute/VPN, networking, and security hardening.Experience with identity, RBAC, secrets/keys, and Zero-Trust principles.Knowledge of data governance frameworks (Purview), DQ, lineage, schema evolution.Skilled in designing scalable and distributed batch/streaming architectures.FinOps practices for compute/storage cost optimization.Ability to create reference architectures, standards, and blueprint documentation.Functional SkillsAbility to mentor engineering teams and lead design reviews.Strong collaboration skills with PMs, compliance, business, and engineering stakeholders.Ability to define roadmaps, migration strategies, and hybrid modernization blueprints.Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership alignment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the end-to-end architecture of hybrid big-data platforms.Establish security models, integration patterns, and governance standards.Review engineering designs and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.Collaborate with PMs and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business goals.Drive modernization strategy, migration planning, and stepwise platform evolution.Oversee performance, reliability, DR strategy, and cost-optimized cloud adoption.
