Guest Service Parking Valet

We have a position available as a Valet Parking Specialist three to five days a week (both Day and Evening shifts) You'll be serving alongside some of our most seasoned and dedicated team members. In this key role you will be performing on the front line of guest service and have the first and last interaction with our patients and visitor at a world class hotel. You will be joining a team that takes pride in delivering the unique guest service experience that we strive to provide upon our guest’s immediate arrival and departure. For the positions we're hiring, you will be responsible to assist all guests and make their visit one in which they have a positive parking experience each and every time through your personal efforts and our team. 1) Open door for guests and visitors and assist them upon arrival and departure. 2) Follow company standard procedure in welcoming and acknowledging all guests and visitors. 3) Be expectant of guest needs and meet them promptly. 4) Provide assistance to people with physical challenges. 5) Engage with our guests and show genuine compassion. 6) Provide information and directions to guests. 7) Employ professional language in communicating with other team members and guests. 8) Monitor and manage commercial and personal vehicle traffic such as guest vehicles, Uber and taxi cabs, vendor deliveries and give direction to them on property to ensure proper parking of vehicles so as to achieve efficient flow of traffic. 9) Ensure parking areas/levels are secure, safe, and clean always, and immediately give report of any observed security problems, unauthorized persons, or safety/vehicle hazards, to your manager. 10) Keep vehicles and vehicle keys secure and safe at all times. 11) Ensure parking procedures are properly communicated to our guests and visitors. 12) Adhere to all company procedures and policies 13) Report all cases of injuries, unsafe work conditions, and accidents to your manager 14) Protect the assets of our company, client, and guests and ensure proprietary information are kept confidential. 15) Complete Shift Reports and reconcile deposits and tickets. 16) Ensure cordial and professional working relationships with other people. 17) Work effectively within the team environment. 18) Follow company quality assurance standards and expectations in delivering of service. 18) Perform other duties as may be assigned by your manager. Minimum Requirements 1) Must love to work with people. 2) A true desire and ability to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. 3) Refined verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with others. 4) Must have physical stamina to lift moderate to high amounts of weight. 5) Ability to tolerate long periods of standing and running. 6) Must be able to be exposed to and work in all weather conditions. 7) Must be able to work a flexible schedule. 8) Good understanding of the English language. 9) Ability to drive all types of vehicles both manual and automatic. 10) Compute basic arithmetic. 11) Must be at least 18 years old. You must have a valid California driver's license without felony driving convictions and no more than two points violation on driving record in the past 36 months. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.90 per hour Work Location: In person
