Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.St. Francis Borgia High School, a Catholic college-preparatory high school, seeks a responsible, dependable, and safety-conscious Bus Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for students. The bus driver will transport students to and from school, athletic contests, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities while supporting a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a school bus along assigned routes and to athletic events, field trips, and other school-sponsored activitiesEnsure the safety and well-being of students during loading, transport, and unloadingConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with state regulations and Archdiocesan requirementsMaintain accurate records including mileage, trip logs, passenger counts, and any maintenance or safety concernsFollow all traffic laws, safety regulations, school policies, and Archdiocesan guidelinesSupervise student behavior on the bus and address concerns appropriately, reporting incidents to school administration when necessaryCommunicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, coaches, teachers, and school staffKeep the bus clean and orderly and report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediatelyMaintain all required licensing, certifications, and compliance with drug/alcohol testing as required by lawJob RequirementsValid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsementsClean driving record and ability to pass all required background checksMinimum age of 21 yearsPrevious experience driving a school bus or commercial vehicle preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekendsPhysically capable of performing bus inspections and assisting students as neededCommitment to the mission and values of Catholic education; practicing Catholic preferred but not requiredThe Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
