Ultrasound Tech – Vascular / Multispecialty Travel AssignmentLocation: Plainview, TexasFacility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital | Level IV Trauma CenterContract Duration: 13 WeeksScheduleShift Type: Day ShiftShift Schedule: 4x10-Hour ShiftsHours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 Hours WeeklyOn-Call RequirementMonday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AMWeekends: 24-Hour Call Coverage RequiredPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist with strong vascular and echocardiography experience for a travel assignment in Plainview, Texas. This role requires a highly skilled sonographer capable of performing a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound and cardiac imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment.The ideal candidate will have experience in general ultrasound, OB/fetal imaging, vascular studies, and echocardiography, including stress and contrast echo procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple specialtiesConduct general, vascular, OB, fetal, breast, and transvaginal ultrasound examsPerform adult echocardiograms, contrast echo, and stress treadmill echo proceduresPrepare patients for imaging procedures and explain procedures clearlyEnsure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation for physician interpretationMonitor patient safety and comfort during examinationsOperate and maintain ultrasound and echocardiography equipment appropriatelyCollaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teamsParticipate in weekday and weekend on-call rotation coverageMaintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standardsDocument patient information and imaging results accurately within EMR systemsReport equipment issues or malfunctions promptlyRequired QualificationsPrevious Ultrasound Technologist experience requiredStrong multispecialty ultrasound experience requiredBLS Certification requiredAbility to work independently in a fast-paced acute care settingComfortable participating in on-call rotation schedulesStrong communication and patient care skillsFor more details contact athdavda@navitashealth.comor Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
