Polysomnographer/ Sleep Technologist

Job Title-Polysomnographer /Sleep tech Location- 2100 N Martin Luther King JR. BLVD. Clovis, NM 88101 Duration- 13 weeks (possible extension). Shift - 12 hr. Nights Guaranteed Hours:36 EMR Used: EPIC Specialty Type: Cardiopulmonary Facility Name: ALLIED Plains Regional Medical Center **1, Locum Pay rate> $ 55/hr. on W2 **2,Travel Package:-> $ 30/hr. on W2 $ 1120 Weekly (Non - Taxable) $ 2200 weekly gross EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: 13 weeks assignment, 2 years’ experience current required and have worked with G3/Alice 6 software also , Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Responsibilities: All Polysomnography duties Scores sleep studies Communicate with sleep center physicians regarding their patients and/or testing procedures. Assist with training of Polysomnographic Trainee and technicians including over seeing testing performance. Assist with quality monitoring Assist with patient compliance program, as needed including making follow up contacts. CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Registered Polysomnography /Polysomnography NM License required and have worked with G3/Alice 6 software. Philips G3 experience preferred. SHIFTS: 12 hour night shift position. Shift start time: 18:30 Shifts to include every other weekend ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
