Elevator Mechanic/ Millwright

Perma Tronic’s Elevator Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, inspecting and installing manlifts. You will be working with our lead mechanics, learning all about industrial, commercial, and residential elevators. You must be physically able to climb ladders and not fearful of height. Strong mechanical and problem-solving capabilities are a must! Basic electrical skills, welding and fabricating are preferred. You will work ≈ 40 weeks of the year out of town, with some weekends and some weekdays off based on job completion. You will be eligible for benefits, vacation pay, health, dental, vision, and life insurance after a 90-day probationary period. We provide personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, safety harnesses, and gloves. You will be required to have steel-toe boots. Respirators are worn as needed. A background check will be required as well as random drug testing. A valid driver's license is required. Must be on time and reliable. Preference will be given to veterans.
