OMS Sales Specialist

The RoleThe are partnered with a leading global financial technology firm to support the build‑out of its enterprise product sales team in New York.This role is focused on driving growth for a multi‑asset order and trade workflow platform used by sell‑side institutions across global markets. You will be responsible for expanding existing relationships and originating new business by positioning the platform at the core of clients' trading, risk, and post‑trade workflows.You'll operate in a consultative, enterprise sales capacity-working with senior stakeholders to understand complex front‑to‑back processes and delivering tailored, workflow‑led solutions. The role involves long, multi‑threaded sales cycles and close collaboration with internal partners across sales, product, and solutions teams.Beyond revenue generation, this position plays a key role in shaping go‑to‑market strategy by feeding real‑time client and market insights back into product and commercial leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders at sell‑side institutions by developing a deep understanding of their trading, risk, and operational workflowsIdentify and execute new business and expansion opportunities within complex enterprise accountsLead consultative sales conversations around order management, risk, compliance, and front‑to‑back trading infrastructurePosition a multi‑asset OMS and adjacent solutions in the context of clients' technology strategies, regulatory needs, and evolving business modelsOwn pipeline development, forecasting, and execution across long sales cyclesCollaborate closely with account coverage, pre‑sales, product, implementation, and risk teams to deliver cohesive solutionsMaintain a strong understanding of the competitive ecosystem and clearly articulate differentiated valueProvide structured feedback on client workflows, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product and commercial strategyContribute to broader strategic initiatives that support regional and firm‑wide growth objectivesWhat We're Looking For7+ years of client‑facing experience in financial services or financial technologyProven experience selling complex, enterprise‑level solutions to sell‑side institutions (e.g., OMS, EMS, risk platforms, trading infrastructure)Strong understanding of sell‑side trading workflows, particularly across fixed income and derivativesAbility to navigate and influence senior stakeholder groups within large financial institutionsDemonstrated success managing complex deal cycles, pipeline ownership, and revenue targetsA consultative, solution‑oriented sales approach with a high bar for client serviceStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex conceptsComfortable operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceWillingness to travel as needed for client engagement
