Channel Marketing Director - Outdoor RecreationOur client is a leading manufacturer of outdoor construction equipment that services the architectural, building and construction, private and public sectors. They are seeking to hire a Channel Marketing Director responsible for managing distributor marketing execution and developing strategies to drive demand and market share. In this role, you will ensure that all channel marketing activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals while effectively supporting distributor partnerships.Responsibilities:Marketing liaison: ensure tools and assets are available and accessible for distributors and provide guidance for execution within marketsSupport market specific initiatives in alignment with organization-wide marketing campaignsProvide brand standards, campaign execution and marketing best practices training to distributorsDrive unified marketing programs, templates and tool adoption among distributorsConvert brand marketing strategies into programs, activation plans and playbooksManage marketing asset creation, customization and distribution i.e. presentations, brochures, videos, sell sheets, etc.Support digital marketing execution across distributors: social media, web content, email campaigns, etc.Manage marketing support of tradeshows, events and sales meetings; provide distributors with all necessary promotional materials and assetsCreate visual tools, marketing materials, presentation and proposal templates to improve quality and consistency for distributorsAssist with improving lead quality through better marketing alignmentDefine and track KPIs to improve channel marketing; identify area for improvement and develop solutionsRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relatedMin. 10+ years of Marketing experience within Channel and/or B2B marketingMarketing experience within Outdoor Recreation, Construction, Building Material or related requiredPrevious experience working with a B2B organization with third-party requiredExperience in marketing strategy and tactic development and implementation in distributorsAbility to convert brand strategies into market-ready programs/toolsKnowledge/Understanding of digital marketing, asset development and sales enablementExcellent Communication and Presentation skillsAbility to travel approx. 30% (tradeshows/events and support distributors)Offering:Base Salary $150,000Bonus PotentialFull Benefits PackagePaid Time Off, Paid HolidaysDirect Sales Recruiting, LLC, (DSR) and DirectHR are National Recruitment organizations partnering with National, Regional and Local Clients to bring qualified candidates a career and a future.
