PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Be on timeHave excellent attendanceMeet established hospital standardsFollow all company safety rulesBe able to work well with a diverse workforceBe able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisorFollow all company policies and proceduresPossess and maintain a positive attitudeMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policiesBe able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arisePerform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fitMust be able to work weekends and/or overtime with or without notice.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Cross-train in other positions per facility needsJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a dayBe able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
