Outside Sales Representative

DEPCO Products is a market leader in aftermarket parts specializing in the wholesale construction and agricultural equipment markets. Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven individual with prior outside sales experience to join our team as a Regional Sales Representative.
Job Overview:
In charge of making contact with potential and current customers, via phone, email, internet forums, and/or in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. Responsible for negotiating sales and freight costs, as well as informing customers about availability, lead times, new products, features, additional parts, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sources, identifies, and contacts potential customers
Generates leads
Offers second-to-none customer service
Answers questions and provides knowledge in reference to products, lead times, shipping, and order status, etc.
Develops and maintains relationships with customers by following up on wants and needs
Captures and updates customer account information, as needed
Closes deals
Ability to take/send orders
Elevates complaints to management
Stays up-to-date with market trends
Schedules customer meetings and/or demonstrations, as necessary
Collaborates with marketing team on marketing strategies and materials needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years sales experience, preferred
Sales-driven mentality
Enthusiastic demeanor
Experience with persuasive selling
Capability to use sales negotiation tactics
Excellent verbal communications skills
Attention to detail and good record keeping skills
High degree of organization
Basic math proficiency
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
Familiarity with any CRM software, preferred
1 week of travel per month, required
Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license
Knowledge in construction and/or agricultural parts/machines (not required, but a bonus)
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, (Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred – not required)
Experience in B2B sales, outside sales, or account management
Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Experience using CRM software and other sales automation tools (preferred)
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Must be committed to travel
