The Frisco, TX office is a key technology and analytics hub supporting Banking Solutions, Client Experience, and Enterprise Data & Analytics functions across North America.About The RoleThis position supports the Banking Solutions Client Experience Data & Analytics team, covering key initiatives including Critical Implementations Demand, Capacity and Utilization reporting and dashboards, Master AI dashboards, Operations Support Trends and Ticket Resolution reporting, and Data & Analytics backlog and support requests for senior leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, BI development expertise, and hands-on data engineering skills with a fintech or financial services background. A coding test will be administered as part of the in-person interview process.Key ResponsibilitiesInteract with stakeholders and users to define business requirements and necessary system modifications and convert business requirements into executable code solutionsDesign, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards and develop reports using Power BI Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), SQL, and data lakesWrite advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, complex KPIs, and row-level security rules within Power BI semantic modelsBuild, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets in Databricks using PySpark and Python for data exploration, cleansing, and pipeline developmentDevelop Python scripts and notebooks in Databricks for data automation, transformation, statistical analysis, and ad-hoc analyticsDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiencyPartner with stakeholders to surface trends, enable data-driven decisions, and scale reporting solutions across the organizationWrite complex SQL queries for data extraction, joins, window functions, and query optimization across large enterprise datasetsDesign and maintain dimensional data models, star schemas, and BI semantic layers to support enterprise reporting and self-service analyticsMonitor pipeline and dashboard health, troubleshoot data issues, and implement data quality checks and validation rulesCollaborate with data engineers, platform architects, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, governed, and timely data deliveryAutomate recurring reports and analytics workflows to reduce manual effort and increase self-service capability across teamsEvaluate and identify new technologies for implementation and write well-designed, testable, and efficient code ensuring designs follow specificationsDevelop and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, report catalogs, and dashboard user guidesPresent analytical findings and dashboard insights clearly to both technical and non-technical senior leadership audiencesRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and BI Development in an enterprise environmentStrong proficiency in SQL complex querying, joins, subqueries, window functions, stored procedures, and query performance tuningHands-on Power BI development experience including Power Query (M), DAX formulas, calculated measures, data modeling, row-level security, and report publishingProficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting including pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation librariesHands-on experience with Databricks including notebooks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and large-scale data transformation workflowsExperience in data modeling and dimensional modeling for analytics and BI semantic layersStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts star schema, snowflake schema, and data mart designExperience in financial services, payments, banking, or regulatory reporting environmentsExcellent communication skills able to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders and senior leadershipPreferred QualificationsExperience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric alongside DatabricksFamiliarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices for BI artifacts and data pipelinesExperience with additional visualization tools such as Tableau in multi-tool BI environmentsExposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology and sprint-based analytics developmentKnowledge of financial services data domains payments, transactions, risk, compliance, or client operationsMicrosoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) certification is a strong plusInterview ProcessStage 1: In-Person Interview at Frisco, TX officeStage 2: Hands-on Coding Test SQL, Python, and Power BI DAX will be assessedNote: Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate live coding ability during the in-person interviewWork ArragementLocation: Frisco, TX Hybrid (regular in-office presence required)All visa types are welcome to applyCompensationCliff Services W2: $50 to $55hr (candidate pay)
