Kubernetes / Platform EngineerLocation: Cleveland, OHOverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Kubernetes / Platform Engineer to support a cloud-native environment focused on microservices and Azure-based infrastructure. This role will play a key part in managing Kubernetes clusters, supporting development teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable platform operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, performance, and reliabilityImplement and enforce cluster policies, security controls, and best practicesSupport microservices running in distributed, multi-cluster environments with failoverPartner with development teams to enable efficient product deliveryBuild and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflowsTroubleshoot production issues and optimize system performanceContribute to infrastructure automation and cloud platform improvementsRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes5+ years of experience in cloud-native development, including:Microservices architectureContainerization (Docker, Kubernetes)DevOps tools and practicesExperience working in distributed systems / clustered environmentsPreferred SkillsExperience with Azure and Azure networking (configuration & troubleshooting)Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CDFamiliarity with Argo CDExperience with Terraform or other IaC toolsKnowledge of OAuth, APIs, and Azure API Management (APIM)Experience with HashiCorp VaultExposure to Apache Camel for integrationsStrong experience with Java / Spring Boot (nice to have)Certifications (Nice to Have)Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
