**Job Duties/Scope Of Work**This position provides support to the Fleet Services organization managing the procurement and disposal of DOE owned vehicles & equipment, in addition to overseeing multiple subcontracts supporting maintenance and repair activities performed on the HMIS managed fleet of vehicles & equipment, as well as subcontracted services supporting the Fleet Services mission.The candidate will report directly to the Fleet Manager and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as Procurement, HMIS and OHC Property Management. This role involves overseeing and organizing various needs related to Fleet Services to ensure that the objectives and responsibilities outlined in the HMIS prime contract are met. Manage the procurement and disposal of DOE owned vehicles & fleet equipment for HMIS and Other Hanford Contractors (OHCs) as per the J-3 matrix Process Special Equipment Requests (SERs) submitted by HMIS and OHCs for vehicle and equipment needs, including determining if equipment is available on site to meet schedule needs and when necessary, obtaining DOE approval of SERs Establishes technical scope, budget and schedule baseline objectives for fleet services subcontracted services and materials Maintain client relationships to ensure proper and timely flow of information and approvals related to service delivery Manage the HMIS Commercial Vehicle and Equipment Rental program Monitor use of rental and DOE owned off-road/heavy equipment and provide Fleet Manager recommendations to improve effective use of resources Monitor Federal Register for rulemaking affecting Fleet Services area of operations Assist in the programming support of the Fleet Services computerized maintenance management system and fleet management information system Serve as the back-up POC for the site fuel station**Basic Qualifications**BA/BS degree plus 8 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a fleet, transportation, automotive repair or similar service organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office programs -- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TeamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with stakeholders and preparation of complex documentsStrong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple subcontracts and programs simultaneously with competing deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience interfacing with executive leadership and technical teams from various disciplines[]{style="font-family: Verdana, G"}
