Financing Solutions VP & Chief Administrative Officer

Who we are looking forThe Financing Solutions Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Vice President will play a critical role in shaping, enabling, and executing the strategic vision of the Financing Solutions business. Partnering closely with the Financing Solutions leadership team, this role brings a strategic mindset, strong business judgement, and the ability to translate vision and complexity into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership and key governance forums. This role requires a highly effective operator who can manage multiple priorities, influence senior stakeholders and serve as a central conduit of information flow and decision-making across State Street Markets.This role has a dual reporting line to the Head of Business Management for the Trading Businesses (based in Boston) who oversees CAO functions globally for State Street Markets and the Global Head of Financing Solutions (based in Jersey City).Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of State Street Markets (Markets). As our investment research and trading arm, Markets number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.Join us if making your mark in the capital markets industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs the Financing Solutions CAO, Vice President you willPartner with the Financing Solutions leadership team to drive execution of business strategy, operating plans and transformation initiatives.Support annual planning processes for headcount, technology investment, legal and marketing spend and ongoing investment governance.Track strategic initiatives and ensure timely delivery, transparency, and accountabilityOwn and drive leadership governance, including weekly leadership meetings, business reviews, offsites, and ad hoc strategic meetings.Create high quality executive and board-level materials for senior management, committees and governance forums, synthesizing complex information for audience consumptionAct as a thought partner to senior leaders, anticipating questions and shaping decision-ready narrativesCoordinate client engagement planning for the Financing Solutions leadership teamOversee global client and industry events for the Financing Solutions business.Provide strategic support to global staff engagement, communications and culture initiativesLead productivity, process improvement and change initiatives that span the business and broader firm.Oversee the Financing Solutions Real Estate footprint.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Ability to translate strategy, vision, and complex datasets into impactful executive-level presentationStrong analytical background with keen inclination to solve problems.Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to pivot and adapt.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive priorities without compromising the quality of workHighly proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating with limited guidance on complex and/or sensitive mattersBusiness acumen with the ability to anticipate stakeholder questions and sense check factsIntellectual curiosity and ability to quickly self-learn topics to provide context and insightEducation & Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience in a CAO, COO or Business Management role within State Street or across the banking industry / capital markets industryExperience in Securities Finance or familiarity with the businessesBachelor’s degree required, preference in finance, accounting or related field.Highly skilled in PowerPoint and other prominent Microsoft offerings.Salary Range:$110,000 - $188,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
