Temporary Turn Associate - Maintenance

DescriptionThe Temporary Turn Associate will provide temporary assistance during turnover at a student housing apartment community. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of administration and maintenance tasks to ensure that established quality standards are met upon move-in. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent customer service skills.What You’ll DoAssist with necessary repairs and improvements to vacant student apartments prior to move-in. Perform touch up painting as directed by Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing general cleaning and other duties as needed. Support expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment. Ensure adherence to the company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies and proceduresDemonstrates excellent customer service skills by treating residents, vendors and other team members with respect.Ability to maintain an excellent customer service attitude.Perform miscellaneous duties as assignedWhat You’ll NeedNo specific level of education is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgencyMust have reliable transportation Physical ActivitiesFrequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential tasks. Frequent bending and/or stooping.
