Project Estimator

Select Search group has partnered with a civil construction client in the greater Myrtle Beach area that is experiencing strong growth, and is looking to add a new Project Estimator to their team! This Estimator to support a strong pipeline of sitework, earthwork, utility, and roadway projects. This is a growth-driven, newly created role with strong visibility and long-term advancement potential.Position DetailsPrepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimatesSolicit and level subcontractor/vendor pricingBuild competitive bids across earthwork, utilities, grading, and pavingPartner with PMs and field teams on preconstruction strategyAnalyze historical data and production rates to support pricingRequired ExperienceExperience in heavy civil / sitework estimatingStrong takeoff and bid-build experienceFamiliarity with HCSS (HeavyBid/HeavyJob), Agtek, or similar toolsKnowledge of DOT / infrastructure projects is a plusAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlinesFamiliarity with HCCS, AGTEK, and/or Auto-CAD is preferredAdditional Information and BenefitsCompetitive base salary + bonus / profit sharing401(k) with match + full benefitsStrong backlog of work + long-term stabilityClear path for growth into senior/preconstruction leadership
