This client is big on work-life balance (details below)Our client is a mid-size public accounting and wealth management firm that is expanding and seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support continued organic growth. This role offers the opportunity to work with a sophisticated client base that includes high-net-worth individuals and families, closely held businesses, and healthcare professionals, while playing a meaningful leadership role within the tax practice.This role is ideal for an experienced CPA with 5–7 years of public accounting tax experience who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring staff, and handling complex tax matters in a high-quality, relationship-driven environment. The firm serves high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses and offers a strong emphasis on work/life balance and long-term career growth.What You’ll Do:Build and maintain trusted client relationships, while delivering exceptional serviceReview and prepare 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120S tax returnsPrepare tax estimates, projections, and planning strategiesServe as a primary client contact, delivering high-touch client serviceAnalyze and apply complex tax rules to client-specific situationsSupervise engagements and special projects with minimal oversightMentor and develop junior staff membersParticipate in practice development and expanding client servicesWhat We’re Looking For:CPA license requiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5–7 years of recent public accounting tax experience (required)Strong experience with tax preparation and review across multiple entity typesExcellent communication, organization, and leadership skillsProfessional presence with the ability to manage client relationshipsProficiency in Excel and QuickBooksSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentThe client values work-life balance, so during busy season, they do their best to ensure the team does not work more than 54hrs a week, and during the 'slow' season, the team will get WFH and/or Half-Day Fridays!
