Product Safety Engineer

ResponsibilitiesTest and evaluate products against U.S., Canadian, and international safety standardsMentor and support junior engineering staffReview schematics, manufacturing instructions, and product constructionPlan and execute compliance testing; document and report resultsCommunicate project status and findings to internal teams and clientsQualificationsBachelor's or technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience with product safety standards such as ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, and IEC, including:IEC 60601 (Medical), IEC 62368 (ICT), IEC 61010 (Lab/Test Equipment), IEC 60335 (HVAC/Appliances)Familiarity with product categories including medical, electronics, laboratory, IT, appliances, and machineryStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projectsProficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to travel as needed
