Director of Membership Growth

The Director, Membership Programs will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to grow our donor membership through acquisition, upsell, retention and winback initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute a donor stewardship strategy to deepen long-term relationships and increase lifetime valueDrive membership acquisition through outreach campaigns such as email, direct mail, and calling effortsMaintain and grow membership with a strong focus on retention and supporter engagementLead lapsed donor reactivation efforts alongside standard retention workPartner with content and marketing teams to align membership messaging with broader organizational campaignsManage the quarterly gift selection process for PragerUnitedCreate ongoing reports to assess program performance and identify opportunities for improvementDefine and report on KPIs and dashboards for executive leadershipOversee customer service support efforts for membership-related inquiriesSuccessful Candidates Will Possess5-7+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, donor communications, membership programs, or a related roleStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating or managing supporter-facing messagingComfortable working cross-functionally with executive leadership, design, development, and database teamsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, especially with donor information and reportingProficiency with standard office tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office); CRM/database experience is a plusCollaborative, service-minded, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentHigh integrity and professionalism, including a commitment to donor confidentiality and representing PragerU wellPassion for PragerU's mission and a desire to help advance it through effective communication and donor supportSalary RangeThe salary target for this role is $100,000 – $125,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data.
