Software Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust object-oriented embedded software and real-time computing systems for advanced airborne platforms
- Participate in full lifecycle software development activities including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, and rigorous testing
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment to execute sprint planning, task estimation, peer code reviews, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues across embedded software, simulation tools, and mission-critical components
- Utilize continuous integration pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure high code quality and reliable deployment
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- 0-18 years of relevant technical experience in developing, integrating, or testing embedded software systems
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Java, C#, Rust, or Python
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance What's On Offer
