The expectation of this position is to communicate with internal and external entities; provide routine clerical support; and monitor the office area cleanliness and maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalency.Six (6) months office/clerical related experience.Required Job Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office to include, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.Ability to organize activities and coordinate groups of people.Ability to relate to a diverse student population, communicate with employers and faculty.Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, listening, speaking).Ability to work independently and follow-through on assigned tasks.Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and manage conflict.Ability to use a PC in an office setting.Preferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Business Administration or related field.One year of clerical experience.Special Instructions to ApplicantsThis is a security-sensitive position. Able to effectively communicate with employers and instruction of services.Job DutyProvide daily operation update to Career Development Coordinator.Job DutyEffectively represent the Career Development Department in various on and off campus groups including faculty, media, student population and/or the general public.Job DutyOther duties as assigned.
