Donations Driver

DescriptionOVERVIEW: The Donation Driver reports to the Corps Officer and is responsible for picking up donations from retail partners and delivering them to The Salvation Army Sunnyvale Corps. Duties include unloading, weighing, stocking, and organizing donated items, as well as submitting daily statistical reports to the appropriate programs and agencies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Pick up all the food donations from the food bankDrive to designated retail stores for donationsOversee the food pantry programMaintain food storage and distribution areaAttend community Agency MeetingsKeep up to date on changes in community agencies' procedures and regulationsDeliver and process donated itemsReport stats to appropriate programs and agenciesMaintain company vehiclesGreet and direct office visitorsCoordinate with store receivers and managers to schedule donation pickupsClean the small facility officeOther related duties as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent (required)CA driver's license (required)Experience with data entryExperience driving a 2-ton truckExperience with pallet jacksSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to multi-taskEQUIPMENT USED: Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software2-ton truckPallet jackPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.ADA StatementQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
