Start your next chapter with us today!Position: Transmission TechnicianPay Range: $5,000-$10,000/monthEmployment Type: Full-TimeLocation: Southern California (Multiple Locations)Responsibilities:Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on manual and automatic transmissionsRemove, disassemble, repair, and reassemble transmission unitsUse advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify issuesInspect and test vehicle drivability, shifting performance, and related systemsCollaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs, timelines, and estimatesComplete warranty and non-warranty repairs according to manufacturer standardsMaintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiencyQualifications:2+ years of dedicated transmission repair experience preferredAdvanced mechanical knowledge of transmission systems (including CVT, automatic, and dual-clutch)Skilled in diagnosing drivetrain, clutch, and torque converter issuesProficiency in electronic diagnostic equipment and transmission-specific toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPositive, team-oriented attitude and a drive for excellenceValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordBenefits:Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanFree Strayer University courses - earn your 4-year degree!Paid Vacation, Sick Leave & TrainingEmployee Vehicle Purchase ProgramMoss Bros.
