Following the devastating fires in January 2025, we began collaborating with design and construction professionals through the Altadena Collective in Pasadena. Our goal is to restore Altadena and other communities by working closely with residents, stakeholders, and partner organizations.We partner with both non-profit and for-profit groups to deliver comprehensive design and construction support services. We are seeking an experienced designer / architect with strong technical skills, design sensibility, and leadership qualities to join our growing team and help shape meaningful, resilient residential projects.ResponsibilitiesLead design development and documentation for residential & multi-family rebuild projectsProduce high-quality Revit models and annotated drawings for SD, DD, and CD phases.Coordinate with consultants and community partners across all project phasesParticipate in client meetings, site visits, and public/community presentationsMentor and support junior team members in technical detailing and project workflowEnsure design excellence while balancing constructability, cost, and schedule considerationsQualificationsB.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited institution8-10 years of professional experience in residential & multi-family architecture (California experience preferred)Strong proficiency in Revit (required), with proven experience leading documentation setsExcellent technical detailing, visual communication, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to manage projects independently and coordinate across disciplinesMission-driven, with a strong interest in rebuilding, resilience, and fire-resistant designFamiliarity with multi-family design, single-family residential design, permitting, and construction documentation in CaliforniaExperience working directly with clients and guiding projects from concept to constructionThis is an in-person position (Pasadena, CA)Please email your resume and portfolio (10MB max or a link) to info@nardihaus.com.
