Employment TypeFull timeShiftDay ShiftDescriptionIn partnership with the Regional CFO, the Senior Director, Medical Group Finance provides strategic and operational leadership for the financial management of Trinity Health of New England’s Medical Groups. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial integration across divisions, ensuring fiscal stewardship, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy. The position serves on the THMG Senior Leadership Team, influencing operational and strategic decision‑making across medical group entities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance management for medical group entitiesDevelop and oversee consolidated operating and capital budgets in collaboration with regional and divisional leadershipProvide executive-level financial guidance to Medical Group Presidents and Senior Leadership TeamsOversee and support medical group finance leaders and managersPartner with accounting, revenue cycle, decision support, and system finance teamsEnsure compliance with federal/state regulations, GAAP, and Trinity Health policiesSupport Board, Finance Committee, and executive reporting, including ET‑9/OEIIdentify financial risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives across the regionMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree required10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years as a Finance Director in healthcareDeep knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, budgeting, and revenue cycleStrong analytical, leadership, communication, and executive presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and financial reporting systemsAbility to lead in a collaborative, mission‑driven healthcare environmentWhy Trinity HealthJoin a mission‑driven, nationally recognized health system committed to compassionate, high‑quality care and financial sustainability.Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
