Medical Assistant Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Pride Health Pay: $37 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's Medical Facility in Dallas, TX 75228. This is a 7-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Medical Assistant Location: Dallas, TX 75228 Job Type: Local Contract Duration: 7-month Contract (Possibility of extension) Pay rate: $20-23/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience) Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM (12 PM to 1 PM Lunch) / Monday - Friday (5 days/ wk.) Job Responsibilities: Room patients and prepare them for exams and procedures. Assist physicians and clinical staff during patient care. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection. Administer non-IV medications as directed. Conduct EKGs and basic diagnostic testing (no interpretation). Perform wound care, dressing changes, and staple removal. Collect and process specimens using noninvasive techniques. Document patient information accurately and timely in EMR. Coordinate patient care per provider direction and clinic protocols. Conduct patient intake and screening (phone and in-person). Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous service. Clean, stock, and organize exam and treatment rooms. Sterilize instruments and perform equipment quality checks. Follow infection control, safety, and compliance guidelines. Support Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO) and other assigned duties. Qualifications: High school/GED or equivalent. Current, Medical Assistant Certification/ Registration. 1 years of experience in medical assisting. - Required Bilingual (English/ Spanish). - Preferred Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Coding – Preferred.
