Job Description:Mars Wrigley- Process Machine Operator- Elizabethtown, PAPay: Based on experience $25.40/hour+ and $1.50/hour shift premiumThis site manufactures DOVE ChocolateCurrent Shift Schedule4-Shift Rotation: Rotates between:4th Shift: Week Off3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMWeekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend)Future Shift Schedule:In 2027: Transition from rotating to 12 hour fixed shifts (specific details still in discussion)Description of Role:Process Machine Operators are responsible for, but not limited to, product and machine changeovers, quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), continuous improvement recommendations and assisting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team when necessary.What are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:High school diploma, GED or equivalent education3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing roleBasic analytical and mathematical skillsProficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)Physical Requirements:Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:Technical Degree or Certification4+ years of experience in manufacturingFood or beverage manufacturing experienceExperience with Weever softwareMaintenance knowledge or capabilitiesForklift experienceWhat will be your key responsibilities?Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvementResponsible for the efficient production of quality productsOperate, monitor, and perform changeovers on machineryTrain and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance teamConduct temperature checks, complete Critical Control Point (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) checks dailyMaintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooksAny ad hoc requestsTotal Rewards Starting Pay: Based on experience starting at $25.40/hour+Shift Premium: 3rd Shift: $1.50/HourAnnual Bonus and Merit Increases Benefits Starting Day One: Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leave Relocation will not be providedAllergies: This is a peanut FREE facilityWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
