Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Slidell, LA. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care, preparing examination rooms, taking patient histories and vital signs, administering injections and medications as instructed, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records. The role also requires assisting physicians during examinations and minor procedures while ensuring a high standard of care in a clinical setting. Qualifications Knowledge of patient care, including patient histories, and assisting in medical examinationsAbility to administer medications and injections in compliance with healthcare regulationsExperience in maintaining medical records and managing patient schedulingUnderstanding of and adherence to clinical safety and sanitation standardsEffective communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patientsExperience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plusCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseBLS (Basic Life Support) certification is requiredPrevious experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
