The district prides itself on fostering infinite possibilities for every student. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area. As a Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of school nutrition programs, including planning menus that align with nutritional guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing food preparation and service. Additional responsibilities include supervising nutrition staff, managing inventory and budgets, maintaining vendor relationships, and addressing dietary needs of students. The role emphasizes creating nourishing and appealing food options to support the health and well-being of students. Qualifications Strong knowledge of nutrition standards, menu planning, and dietary requirementsExperience in inventory management, budget oversight, and vendor coordinationProficiency in staff supervision, training, and team leadershipWorking knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation, and related complianceExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaboration with diverse stakeholdersExperience with school nutrition programs or institutional food service is a plusRelevant certification or a degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field is preferred
