Project Development ManagerWashington DC-Baltimore Area | HybridWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing clean energy company seeking a Project Development Manager to help advance solar and energy storage projects across key U.S. markets. This role will focus on moving projects through important development milestones, including site control, interconnection, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in renewable energy development who enjoys working across multiple workstreams and helping move projects from early and mid stage development toward execution.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and help secure project sites through greenfield development and acquisition opportunitiesAdvance projects through key development milestones, including site control, interconnection, permitting, and related approvalsCoordinate with landowners, utilities, consultants, local agencies, and internal teams to keep projects moving forwardSupport project diligence across development, environmental, engineering, and commercial considerationsTrack project risks, timelines, and next steps, and help develop practical solutions to move projects aheadWork cross functionally with leadership and other internal stakeholders to support pipeline growthQualifications3 to 6 years of experience in renewable energy project developmentExperience in solar, community solar, distributed generation, C&I solar, energy storage, or related clean energy developmentExperience supporting or leading workstreams related to permitting, interconnection, land, site control, or project executionStrong project management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast moving environmentFinancial literacy and comfort working with project economics is a plusCompensationBase salary in the $135,000 to $155,000 range plus bonus, benefits, profit sharing, and potential equity, depending on experience.LocationWashington DC preferred.
