The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects in a supportive mid-sized business atmosphere.Job LocationThis position is located in our Wilmington, NC office.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree from accredited college/universityFundamentals of Engineering (EIT) RegistrationMinimum 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering and site designMust be able to coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firmAbility to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage timeDemonstrated experience in obtaining required construction permits, including one or more of the following: sediment and erosion control; coastal stormwater; water/wastewaterMust be able to work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locationsEffective time-management, written communication skills, analytical and interpersonal skillsKnowledgeable in specific requirements affecting coastal communities in NC and SCMust be able to gain Military Base accessDesired ExperienceExperience preparing bids and proposals, producing design drawings, prepare technical specifications, prepare permit submittals, and assist in providing bid services and construction monitoring a PLUSProficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Civil 3D
