Candidates for the EVP position should have at least 15 years' of experience in economic development, real estate, finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex organizations and managing senior leaders. The role requires a strategic, visionary thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans, and a calm, diplomatic presence capable of leading high-stakes conversations. A strong understanding of urban economic development systems, experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments, and a willingness to learn the intricacies of the local political and economic landscape are essential. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader, passionate about urban economic development, and motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community.
