The Estimator is responsible for managing and developing estimating activities for high-profile projects across the Southeast.Primary Responsibilities Review bid documents and coordinate with team to ensure proper and accurate documentation is provided in a timely manner. Perform and enter take off in company-specific estimating software per established guidelines and process. Meet with appropriate parties to confirm estimates are developed in an accurate manner and reflect actual costs. Generate Bill of Materials and communicate to vendors and subcontractors. Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all estimating activities in a timely and efficient manner. Assume other duties as directed by appropriate authoritiesQualifications & Requirements 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator estimating commercial and industrial electrical projectwork over $50M and 5 years in Electrical Construction suggested. College degree in electrical engineering or related field in lieu of experience is acceptable. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) that includes an intermediateknowledge of Excel (manage and organize data into comprehensive sheets, use of advancedformulas and functions). Understanding of Dry Utilities and/or large underground electrical construction and knowledge ofelectrical design and engineering. Ability to manage and review subcontractors and vendor’s bids, proposals, and Bill of Materials. Must be able to read and understand blueprints with the ability to interpret client intention. Experience with Bluebeam is extremely beneficial. Ability to provide layout and design of electrical systems and associated cost.
