Join the team of one of Greater Boston’s most celebrated craft cocktail bars as a Server. Brick & Mortar is a family run, independent, award-winning neighborhood establishment that has been part of the Central Square community for 12 years. Candidates should possess the following requirements: 2+ years of serving experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Well spoken, courteous and professional to our guests and fellow employees alike An unwavering dedication towards developing a restaurant culture rooted in hospitality, education and employee development Comprehensive food, beverage and spirits knowledge Exceptional service and floor skills Self-motivated individuals who can think and adapt quickly. Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and move with a sense of urgency Strong POS and computer knowledge Education and Certification: Tips or 21+ Training Management will work with you to gain or re-certify if you aren’t currently compliant. Physical Demands: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
