Job Title: Lunch Aide (Non-Union, Hourly Position) Location: Hazardville Memorial SchoolNumber of positions available: (1)Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Aide. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment for students during lunch periods.Key Responsibilities:Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch waves to ensure a safe and respectful environment.Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions.Assist with light clean-up duties between lunch waves (including wiping tables).Support school staff in maintaining order and cleanliness in the cafeteria.Respond to minor student needs and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary. Qualifications:Enjoy working with children and maintaining a positive, respectful demeanor.Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required.
