Outside Sales Representative

We're looking for a driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The right candidate will bring solid knowledge of waterworks products and industry best practices, along with a talent for building strong, lasting customer relationships. In this role, you’ll focus on growing our client base, uncovering new sales opportunities, and delivering outstanding service that keeps customers coming back. STAline Waterworks is a Charlotte, NC based distributor of waterworks products and related items to contractors and municipalities. Our focus is on building strong and trusted relationships with our customers by delivering superior service, quality products and dynamic solutions. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four year college or technical school Proven track record in sales and business development, with emphasis on driving revenue growth Extensive knowledge about waterworks products strongly preferred Effective use of negotiation techniques Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, or public A positive attitude and strong work ethic Job Responsibilities: Promote and sell products and services, primarily in-person, to a variety of customers. Manage account relationships within an assigned territory by regularly communicating with and traveling to visit customers in-person. Proactively seek opportunities to grow sales by researching, contacting, and personally visiting prospective customers. Increase market share within assigned territory by determining customer needs and monitoring competition. Engage key decision makers and influencers to retain and grow business. Follow-up on leads and open opportunities. Provide product pricing and availability over the phone, in person, or through various electronic technologies. Provide suggestions and options to customers using detailed knowledge of products and their intended application. Utilize selling and relationship building skills to meet or exceed monthly sales and margin goals.
