Clinical Support Aide (Seasonal Student Role)The Clinical Support Aide (CSA) supports the staff and daily operations of Prevea clinics. This seasonal position is designed for students pursuing a clinical healthcare career and is intended for employment during summer and winter academic breaks only.Under direct supervision, the CSA performs patient rooming, collects and documents vital signs, and maintains clinic rooms and supplies in accordance with infection control standards. Based on training, the CSA may also assist providers with procedures and exams.This role is open to students at various stages of their clinical education who are actively enrolled in a healthcare program and seeking hands-on experience in a clinical setting.Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, perform and document vital signs, and prepare patients for visitsMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and supply levels according to infection control standardsAssist providers with procedures and exams as trainedSchedule non-complex hospital tests, procedures, or office visitsPerform disinfection and sterilization of instruments (including autoclave use)Department opening/closing checklistsEducation Qualifications (Flexible to Meet Multiple Pathways) Must be a student currently attending school for a clinical healthcare profession, and meet one of the following:Enrolled in and completed at least one semester of a clinical program, OREnrolled in the first semester of a clinical program, ORCompleted a clinical program but not yet licensed/certified, ORHave relevant healthcare training or credentials in basic clinical skills (e.g., vital signs, patient positioning)If hired candidates hold an active clinical credential or license, their job title and responsibilities may be adjusted to align with their qualifications.Required ExperienceExperience in a healthcare setting preferredPreferred Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of safety hazards and infection control practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under pressure and in high-energy situationsEffective problem-solving skillsBasic proficiency with computers, phones, and office equipmentLicenses and CertificationsCPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (required upon hire)
