Job SummaryNew Student Orientation Leaders will work with TCC staff members to facilitate orientation programs by:Making contacts with students before, during, and after orientation.Welcoming new students to the TCC community.Giving presentations to new students and their family members.Assisting in the preparation of orientation activities and materials.Explaining academic opportunities and procedures.Acquainting new students with campus services and building locations.Aiding in the development of class schedules.Assisting with the class registration process.Upholding all aspects of the TCC student conduct code.Minimum QualificationsCurrent TCC student or recent graduate within the past two years.Creative personality who enjoys working with people.Strong interest in helping students and parents learn more about TCC.Comfortable presenting in front of others, facilitating conversation, and making numerous phone calls.Works well as a member of a team.Preferred QualificationsExperience as a successful TCC student preferred.No Benefits
