This role will partner closely with customers and internal teams to develop innovative food and beverage solutions while ensuring technical excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key responsibilitiesNew Product Development (NPD)Develop, test, and scale up food and beverage prototypes from laboratory to full-scale manufacturingTranslate concepts into commercially viable productsCustomer CollaborationEngage directly with customers to understand needs and technical requirementsPresent product concepts and provide application supportTroubleshoot formulation and application challengesLaboratory & Pilot Plant WorkConduct analytical testing and experimental trialsOperate within R&D labs and pilot plant environmentsEnsure adherence to safety protocols and best practicesTechnical SupportSupport commercial teams with technical documentation and reportingEnsure products meet quality, regulatory, and food safety standardsInnovation & Continuous ImprovementStay current with industry trends, ingredients, and technologiesContribute to innovative solutions that provide competitive advantageQualifications and skillsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree (2–4-year degree) in Food Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)Experience in food or beverage product development, applications, or manufacturingStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with commercial and technical teamsExposure to pilot plant or scale-up environmentsExperience working directly with customersKnowledge of regulatory and food safety requirements.The pay range for this position is $47,900 - $89,000 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
