Job Title: Data EngineerLocation: 100% RemoteStart Date: ASAPDuration: Long-term project opportunityLanguage Requirement: Fluent German & EnglishRole Overview:We are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a cloud-focused data engineering project within the Energy sector.The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable data pipelines, working with modern cloud platforms, and developing transformation solutions using Databricks and Spark in agile delivery environments.Responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelinesBuild transformation processes using Databricks and Apache SparkSupport cloud-based data platform initiativesCollaborate closely with technical and business stakeholdersContribute to DevOps and software engineering best practicesGather, analyse, and refine business requirementsWork within agile project teams and delivery environmentsRequired Skills:Strong hands-on experience in Data EngineeringExcellent Python programming skillsSolid experience with Databricks and Apache SparkExperience with cloud platforms:AWSAzureor Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practicesExperience in Requirements EngineeringNice to Have:Previous experience within the Energy or Utilities sectorExperience with modern cloud data platform implementationsExposure to large-scale enterprise data environments
