Senior Office/HR Generalist

Job description: Laser Components Detector Group, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Office/HR Generalist with strong HR experience for our manufacturing location in Chandler, AZ. This is a fully on-site position with no remote or hybrid option. The ideal candidate would have an extensive HR background. This is a hands-on position in a small but growing company where everyone contributes to the overall success of the company. The person that accepts this position must be very well rounded and broad-minded. Responsibilities: Coordinate the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution Ensure the organization’s safety compliance with local, state and federal regulations most importantly for Occupational Safety Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently Maintain company organization charts and employee directory Support management to ensure HR goals are aligned with business initiatives Maintain HR systems and processes Set up company events such as team-builders, townhall meetings, surveys, christmas and anniversary parties, etc. Handle the scheduling duties Oversee services for the facility/employee upkeep including supplies and IT issues to resolve with our external IT vendor Support benefits improvement initiatives Support employee retention strategies Support and follow direction from HR Manager and General Manager Requirements: MUST HAVE proven 12+ yrs work experience in a Sr. HR Generalist role in a volume manufacturing or production company (electronics manufacturing highly preferable) Undergraduate university degree (Bachelors and above) In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity This is a position of high trust, so integrity is paramount What makes Laser Components Detector Group attractive?
