PM Preschool Aide

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a PM Preschool Aide, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with lesson implementation, and foster positive interactions that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your energy and compassion will contribute to a safe, inclusive space where children can explore, learn, and grow during afternoon hours. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in executing daily lesson plans aligned with preschool curricula, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies tailored to young children’s needs. Help create a stimulating learning environment through hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and sensory play that promote curiosity and creativity. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining a clean, welcoming space. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance as directed by the lead teacher or specialists. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative atmosphere focused on each child's growth. Requirements Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori or other educational philosophies such as literacy education and curriculum development. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies suitable for preschool-aged children. Experience working with students with autism or other disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and engage positively with children’s families. Ability to work well in a team environment while demonstrating patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
