Midwest Specialty Contractor PositionThis Company has served clients for 15+ years as one of the most respected, experienced and dependable specialty contractors in the Midwest.Role Responsibilities & Details:Collaborate with Operations Manager, General Superintendent and field personnel to plan, control and coordinate Division 4 projects from inception to completion, including staffing, management, supervision and execution of all commercial contracts securedEnsure project and material compliance per plans and specs and review/prep drawings for transfer to Superintendent upon project launchVerify material, scaffolding and equipment procurementServes as point person for all internal and external project communications includingGeneral Contractor and customer relationsHandles submittals, scheduling, resource allocation, change orders, reverse take-offsand quantity trackingMonitors % complete on projects for billing purposesManages risk and identifies areas of improvement pursuant to BSM's safety programand protocols as a key member of safety teamReviews jobs for manpower loading, adequate supervision, QA/QC requirementsAssists in the recruiting, training, and retention of key field personnelVerifies appropriate BSM representative is present and/or attends job site meetingsEnsures completion of contractual requirements for reporting (e.g. daily logs, manpowerreports, meeting minutes, safety meetings, etc.
