ResponsibilitiesJob Summary: Central Market is seeking a Production Specialist with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest quality ingredients.Production Specialists work under direct supervision. They will apply basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment appropriate to are of specialization. Use of specialized subject matter knowledge required.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Duties of this position may include:Include mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking of productsEnsures quality control of all product before sending to sales floorMaintains sanitation in the departmentMaintains organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production areaReads and executes daily production listAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as weights, discounts, percentages and volumesProvides customer service as required such as answering questions, taking orders on the phoneAssists in monitoring the quality of goods and monitors shrinkOrders and receives products and suppliesMaintains transfer recordsPreps, wraps, prices, sells, and stocks products continuouslyDemos, or prepares customer samples for self-serveProvides superlative customers serviceUses suggestive selling techniques to maximize salesThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
