Ask anyone.JOB OVERVIEWThe Event Sales Manager is responsible for effectively prospecting, securing, and executing group and private events for La Condesa, with a primary focus on Flour House-our dedicated private dining and event space-and group dining within the main restaurant.What you'll do:Drive new business development and foster strong community engagementManage client accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat businessRespond to and convert incoming leads into confirmed eventsHost site visits to prospective and existing clients to showcase event spacesDevelop detailed proposals, banquet event orders, and other essential reportsDraft contracts and collect initial deposits to secure eventsCollaborate with onsite F&B teams to coordinate menus and event detailsReview BEO's to confirm final arrangements, including menu selections, timelines, signage instructions, etc.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipelineOversee deposit and billing schedules, including collecting final payments for post-event charges where applicableConduct monthly audits with accounting to ensure accuracy of transactionsPartner with the Marketing Manager to support community events and marketing initiativesAttend weekly Sales Team meetings with other New Waterloo Event Sales ManagersWho you are:You have outstanding customer service skills.You can develop and maintain relationships.You're patient and remain calm in stressful situations.You're highly detail-oriented and able to multitask.You take initiative and can work autonomously.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.You have strong computer skills and the ability to learn sales software programs quickly.You have a genuine passion for events and the physical stamina to execute onsite events.You're creative and willing to find solutions.You manage your time well and have organizational and leadership skills.You have a proven track record in the ability to problem-solve and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.A must: You like to have fun & be nice.BENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:Paid time off50% off discount at most New Waterloo restaurantsHealth, vision + dental benefits401K matchingPaid holidaysVolunteer payTuition reimbursementReferral bonusesDiscounts at our shops, hotels, + local partnershipsABOUT NEW WATERLOONew Waterloo is a community-centric independent hospitality company based in Austin, Texas.
