Job OverviewMatrix Providers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed team within Primary/Ambulatory care clinics under the leadership of the Director of Medical Services. This pivotal role is focused on delivering exceptional healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families located in San Diego, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate patient care in collaboration with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.Ensure adherence to established standards of care, policies, and guidelines within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and obtain health histories from patients.Provide health promotion, counseling, and educational interventions.Administer medications, perform wound care, and execute other individualized interventions.Supervise and direct the care delivered by other healthcare staff.Make informed patient care assignments based on personnel’s scope of practice and skill levels.Quickly recognize and respond to adverse signs and symptoms in emergencies.Effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance patient and family healthcare experiences.Schedule referral appointments and coordinate specialty care as needed.Carry out nursing services as specified in the official Task Order.Engage in research activities to support enhanced practice and patient outcomes.Required SkillsProficient clinical nursing skills and knowledge.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Capacity to function effectively within a collaborative team environment.Critical thinking and decision-making skills relevant to patient care.Expertise in patient care coordination and management.QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Nursing.Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.Possession and maintenance of an unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any U.S. jurisdiction.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.A minimum of three years of clinical registered nursing experience within the last five years.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt Matrix Providers, we emphasize the importance of professional growth and advancement.
